We’re Janet & Bernice: a couple of middle-aged gallivanting girls sharing the real, funny, slightly lazy version of travel, work, and everyday life. Sometimes we’re travelling, sometimes we’re working from some randomly chosen spot, and sometimes… we’re just on Netflix pretending it counts as “travel research.”

This blog is about living and working from anywhere — the honest side of it — with stories, tips, and plenty of laughs from people actually doing it.

How It All Started

Back in our early 20s, we worked on a luxury cruise liner sailing the Mediterranean. Somewhere between port stops and polishing silverware, we realised travel didn’t have to be a once-a-year holiday — it could be a way of life.

Fast forward: we’ve now travelled to 25+ countries, built careers we can pack in a laptop bag, and figured out how to make long-term travel sustainable (without being filthy rich… or burnt out).

What This Blog Is Not!

You won’t find perfect itineraries, dreamy influencer shots, or “10 Hostels You Must Visit Before You Die” lists here. No clickbait. No “I quit my job to travel the world” drama (it’s never that simple, trust us).
